The Story of Snow Peach
The beginning of Snow Peach.
And the developer's thoughts
Peach farmers who love peaches want fresh, delicious peaches in winter!
It was with this desire that the development of "Snow Peach" began.
It all started with collecting the fruit in late autumn and sowing the seeds.

However, we could not find any peaches that ripened late in the season. Then, miraculously, we found one
peach tree in a corner of the field outside of where we had sowed the seeds that ripened around the end of
November. This tree is the ancestor of the "Snow Peach.
Eventually, the flowers of this blossoming tree were pollinated with pollen from my favorite peaches, and
crossbreeding continued. It took 18 years to develop the "Snow Peach" into what it is today, but each
year's progress was a dream come true for the developers, as well as a time of gratitude.
When the peach was completed, we thought for a while about what to name it, but it was so miraculous that
we could not come up with a name for it. In the end, we decided to name it "Takebei" out of respect for
our ancestors, whose name had been passed down from generation to generation in this area.
Currently, we sell the best of these peaches under the name "SnowPeach".

It blooms earliest of all flowers and is harvested the latest, taking more than twice as long to bear fruit as summer peaches. This makes them twice as sweet and concentrated in flavor and aroma. The average sugar content is 20° (for summer peaches, a sugar content of 14° or higher is premium, and a sugar content of 15° or higher is an artisan peach), a sweetness not found in conventional summer peaches. They are so fresh, sweet, and delicious that it is hard to believe that they are winter peaches.
However, because of this, the risk of pests, diseases, and natural disasters is high, and advanced cultivation techniques are required. Therefore, in order to reduce the risk until harvest, we carefully grow each peach fruit with a bag over it.
Beautiful white-colored peaches were born here.
A beautiful white peach, harvested in the cold season.
This is the origin of the name "SnowPeach.
We have received orders from a long-established fruit specialty store in Tokyo, a five-star hotel in Dubai, and others, and in recent years, Fuefuki-shi, Yamanashi Prefecture, has been using our products for its hometown tax payment.
We are aiming to make this peach a special and coveted fruit that people can enjoy as a gift to their loved ones, a reward for themselves, or for special anniversaries.
